Using a premade spray tag.
Okay firstly visit [Null_Link - soon to come] and browse the tags, by clicking the desired image it will automatically open a download window.

Click Save as, as marked in the above image. You will now be prompted with a new window for the location to save the tempdecal.wad file, the best place for now is your desktop.

Now shrink everything so you see desktop, you will now see a tempdecal.wad file

Right click the file and select ‘Cut’ from the options. Now open Start menu and select ‘My Computer’, here you will have listed the drives on your machine. Open

and navigate to your day of defeat installation folder within program fils - steam, location may be c:/program files/steam/steamapps/<your-user-name>/day of defeat/dod/ as illustrated below

Now you have the folder open you can paste in the tempdecal.wad file, simply got to file on the top menu bar and select pase, as shown below

Now last but not least, everytime you add a spray, you need to stop steam from overwriting it, so you must make the file "Read Only". So to do this, right click the tempdecal.wad file that you have just pasted into your dod directory and select 'Properties' from the drop down menu, a window pops up, with the option to select read only, so tick the box.

Now start you dod, and spray away! but remember, keep them clean.
So Hopefully, for those who have never added a spray tag of thier own before, this will get you through it. In time this guide will have a part 2, "making your own custom spray" and will both be added the the main site tutorial section.
